In one Thomas video, Thomas races down the track chasing Sir Topham Hatt's hat, which was caught by the wind. Inspired by that video, a battery-powered motorized Thomas the Tank Engine train chugging around his large Figure 8 track is the primary feature of this entry level TrackMaster set. A manual switch at the crossing allows the engineer to change direction at will. Two accessory trees and a switch tower round out the set. Requires 1 AA battery (not included.) For Age 3+. You can start your child off with an entry-level TrackMaster set, like this one, without a large investment, and if it is a success, add trains, tracks and accessories as your child grows into them. TrackMaster trains are compatible with Tomy battery-powered trains.
