and then tossed into a train's empty wagons for transport to the farms. One day when little Percy, the green engine, was doing this duty, an upended crate covered him with treacle, a sticky liquid normally boilded down into sugar. Then the wind came up and blew loose grass all around, much of it sticking to Percy. When he got home, he looked more like a big green caterpillar crawling through the hay, than a hard-working train engine! Thomas and Toby the Tram engine then took great pleasure in teasing Percy, calling him a Wooly Bear caterpillar! That story is called Wooly Bear.
